1.1 Technology Focus

Our expertise centers on Laravel for custom application solutions and WordPress for enterprise-grade content management solutions, integrations, and powerful marketing sites. Both serve different needs, sometimes working together to create powerful open-source full-featured integrations.

While both platforms share common ground in our approach to development standards, particularly around security, performance, and code organization, we recognize they are not in the same family - one is a CMS, the other is a framework. Yet with this, many of the principles we apply to PHP development, JavaScript implementation, and CSS architecture remain consistent whether we’re building a WordPress plugin or a Laravel application. Crowd Favorite is taking lessons and approaches from Laravel development and is bringing those into WordPress development. This document is written showing examples using both WordPress and Laravel in order to present a holistic approach to our development mindset.
